German actor Michael Mendl, a familiar and respected face of film and television, has died at the age of 82. His agent confirmed his death to the German Press Agency, saying that Mendl had “peacefully passed away.” Several German media outlets had previously reported the news. Over a long and distinguished career, Mendl appeared in more than 200 film and television productions, becoming widely recognized by audiences for his commanding presence and distinctive appearance.
